Birth Control: Side Effects

I'm experiencing side effects. Can I get a new Rx?

Last updated on September 11, 2020

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing side effects with your current birth control. It is not unusual to experience side effects during the first three months or so of using a new birth control, as your body can take time to adjust to the medication. You can read more about which side effects are the most common and which require immediate medical attention.

If you'd like to talk to the doctor about your side effects, we are more than happy to help. Your doctor will provide feedback on your experience and potentially update your prescription to something they think would be a better fit.

Please email us at and tell us, in as much detail as possible, the side effects you've been experiencing. We will then pass your message to your doctor ASAP and let you know as soon as they reply.
