Getting Birth Control Isn't Always Easy

When we launched SimpleHealth, we knew that there was a very real need to make birth control access more convenient and affordable. What we didn't know was just how hard it was for so many women—70% of our patients, in fact—to get access to this very basic healthcare need.

In alignment with "Let's Talk" month and Power to Decide's supporting initiative to get more young people talking about their sexual health, we've launched our #KissMyAccess initiative. We're asking women to start talking more about their personal struggle with birth control access, because there are so many stories that no one has heard. For every story shared on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #KissMyAccess in October, we'll donate one month of birth control to an uninsured woman.

If you've ever felt like you were alone in your struggle to get birth control, you aren't. Here's what we've heard from some of our SimpleHealth patients.
