Tri-Lo-Marzia

Description

Tri-Lo-Marzia is hormonal contraceptive pill that lowers chances of pregnancy by using estrogen and progestin to prevent egg release during a menstrual cycle. These hormones also thicken vaginal fluid to reduce the chances that a sperm could reach an egg. The hormones have a few other benefits, too: combination pills may help regulate periods, reduce period-related cramping, and treat acne. Consult your provider before taking this pill, though, since it can interact with certain medications. It is also not a good option for women over 35 who smoke or women with history of blood clots or breast cancer. Remember, oral contraceptive pills do not protect against STIs (sexually transmitted infections) like herpes and chlamydia—only condoms do that!
