Our medical team is at the core of our online birth control consultation. They guide the clinical direction of our doctor network, helped develop the consultation, and are responsible for providing expert insight to the SimpleHealth team on providing patients with a great medical experience.
Rashmi Kudesia is a board-certified reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) specialist. She completed her Baccalaureate degree in Biology & Medicine magna cum laude from Brown University and her MD with honors from the Duke University School of Medicine. She then pursued her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at New York Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, followed by REI fellowship and a Master’s of Science in Clinical Research Methods at Montefiore Medical Center-Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
She joined the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai faculty for nearly 3 years before relocating to Houston, where she currently practices at CCRM Fertility Houston, also serving as Site Director for CCRM Houston - Sugar Land and Director of Patient Education.
Dr. Kudesia holds national leadership roles in organized medicine, regularly presents and publishes scientific research, and enjoys teaching the Houston-area OB/GYN residents and medical students. She promotes women’s health advocacy through community work and social media, with special interest in access to fertility knowledge, counseling and care.
L. Clinton Martin, PharmD, started his career in pharmacy at an independent compounding pharmacy in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. There he discovered his passion for pharmacy and went on to obtain his Doctorate in Pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
While in college, Clinton expanded his pharmacy repertoire by working in hospital, community and specialty pharmacies. He was recognized on campus as an organizational leader and led several initiatives that improved campus life as well as organized community events centered around healthcare.
After completing his PharmD, he was hired as the Pharmacist in Charge for a chain pharmacy in Central, IL. Later he worked at major retail pharmacies and hospitals in the St. Louis area. He became licensed in multiple states and searched for a position where he could increase access to health care while making a positive impact on the pharmacy industry.
Clinton’s ability to combine his pharmacy skills with business acumen allows him to focus on accuracy and efficiency. Clinton has over 12 years of pharmacy experience and enjoys helping patients increase their knowledge and understanding of the medications they use while delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.
