Blisovi FE 1.5/30

Blisovi FE 1.5/30 is a combination hormonal birth control pill that helps to prevent pregnancy by using progestin and estrogen to stop the release of an egg and thicken vaginal fluid to help prevent sperm from reaching an egg. These hormones can also help with a number of other issues, like period-related cramping, acne and other symptoms associated with PMS. Added perk: the seven inactive pills have a small iron supplement! Talk with your doctor about any current medications before taking this pill, since it can react with certain drugs (especially medications for breast cancer). It is not a good option for women over 35 who smoke or women with history of blood clots or breast cancer. Remember, oral contraceptive pills do not protect against STIs (sexually transmitted infections) like herpes and chlamydia—only condoms do that!
